Ultimate Dance Explosion Part 2

LA Angels Dance will be hosting our annual Ultimate Dance Explosion on November 14, 2015. The show will begin at 11:00 a.m. Admission at the door for any supporters or parents will be $10.00 per person. Will be selling pre-sale up to one week prior to the event. Only 2 coaches will be allowed to get in free. The show will be held in Alexandria, Louisiana. The location is TBD we will gladly let you know the exact address soon. Registration Fee per team is $40.00. Late Fee $50.00 Registration is due by October 16, 2015. Any time after October 16, 2015 you are required to pay $ 50.00. All teams are asked to arrive at 9:30 a.m. There will be Roll Call, Jamaican Theme, Field Show, and Stand Battle. All categories will be divided into K-6 and 7-12 with the exception of Roll Call.

Roll Call is a category that introduces your team. Roll call should be a simple routine with any music of your choice. Please provide music on a CD ROM, no cell phones, IPads or any other device can be used to play music. So please make sure you have a backup just in case anything happens. This category will be judged 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. This category will be combined.

Jamaican Theme is more like a creative category where we want you to think outside the box. Use colors, outfits, and different props if you have to. This routine should be 3 to 5 minutes long. The song must consist of Jamaican or Reggae song. Please provide music on a CD ROM, no cell phones, IPads or any other device can be used to play music. Please have a backup. This category will be judged 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Any one not following the guidelines will have points deducted. This category will be separated K-6 and 7-12.

Field Show routine must be 3 to 5 minutes music must be of any of your chosen. Keep in mind this is field show. Please provide music on a CD ROM, no cell phones, IPads or any other device can be used to play music. Please have backup. This category will be judged 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. This category will be separated K-6 and 7-12.  

Stand Battle K-6/7-12 will both consist of 1 slow, 1 medium, 1 fast be per round. Teams are to remain in attention while other teams is performing. There will be absolutely no moving while another team is performing or you will be disqualified. Any team that cross the solid black line will be disqualified.

Grand Champions there will be a cash prize give away. In order to receive the cash prize your team must do roll call, Jamaican theme, and field show. The team with the highest score from all three categories will be the Ultimate Dance Explosion Champion.
